Frequently Asked Questions

No, we do not charge fees, this is a free service. We are a broker who feeds our business into the Direct Link Technologies (DLT) pingtree lending system. When you take out a loan with one of the companies DLT matches you to, they pay us a commission for the introduction. DLT are licensed by The Financial Conduct Authority. The company who offer you the loan might charge you a fee but that will be clearly stated and is between you and them.

Auto Decisioning allows lenders to make a decision on your loan application without the need for human interaction, for more information please contact your lender or see their privacy policy.

Not by us but in order to receive any monies from a potential lender they will most likely perform a credit check on you. This will be clearly stated at the time and you will have the opportunity to refuse a credit check. If you do refuse to be checked, it is highly unlikely anyone will lend you any money.

Most lenders allow their customers the chance to repay their loan early if circumstances permit. However, it is always worth checking your loan offer before you sign and accept it to see if there are any redemption penalties for early repayment. ‘Early Redemption’ are the words you’re looking for and lenders are within their rights to ask for money from you to pay off early. That money will be a proportion of the interest to be collected.

If you get into difficulties and can’t make your monthly payment the first thing to do is speak to your lender. The worst thing you can do is to do nothing. It’s important to speak to the lender straight away so they can discuss ways in which they can help. They have a vested interest in helping you. If you are experiencing financial difficulty and building up debts, we would strongly advise you not to take any more loans from any credit providers and speak to somebody about your problem straight away. You can get free advice and support from a number of places, including Citizens Advice Bureau & The National Debt Helpline.

Typically you can borrow from £100-£25,000 but it depends on your application and how each lender views it. Some will be prepared to offer more than others.

Yes, of course. The self-employed are most welcome in our system but you may need to supply more information about your income. It depends on the lender.

Yes you can. While we can’t guarantee you will be offered a loan we will do everything possible to match you to a lender who best suits your needs.
