How It works

Important: Badger Loans is designed to help people search for credit. Submitting an application does not guarantee that you will be offered a loan and many applicants will not qualify based on lender criteria. We also do not know if you have received the loan or not, that’s between you and any lender who may offer you a loan.

Badger Loans is a UK credit broker, not a lender.

We do not make lending decisions, approve loans or transfer money. Instead, we introduce customers to a panel of lenders and brokers who may be able to help.

Before You Apply

Applying through Badger Loans is completely online.

There are no appointments, no branch visits and no telephone interviews. The information you provide on your application is used to assess whether any of our panel members may be interested in helping.

Because everything is automated, it is important that you complete your application accurately and honestly. Incorrect information can reduce your chances of being accepted.

If you need help, our Support Hub contains guides covering credit scores, loan applications, affordability and ways to improve your chances of being approved.

What Happens After I Apply?

Once you submit your application, your details are securely passed through our lender panel.

This process is often referred to as a “ping tree”. In simple terms, your application is presented to a range of lenders and brokers to see whether any of them may be able to help.

This allows your application to be seen by multiple potential providers without you having to complete lots of separate forms.

Will I Definitely Get A Loan? No. Most customers who apply for credit online do not ultimately receive a loan offer.

Lenders look at many factors including income, expenditure, affordability, credit history and their own internal lending criteria.

Badger Loans cannot influence these decisions and cannot guarantee that any lender will approve an application.

Why Might I Receive Emails, Texts Or Calls?

If a lender or broker believes they may be able to help, they may contact you directly.

As a result, you should expect to receive emails, text messages or telephone calls after submitting your application.

This is a normal part of the credit broking process and is often the quickest way for lenders to request additional information or discuss any available options.

Our Promise

We aim to make the loan search process as simple as possible.

We cannot guarantee acceptance, but we can help put your application in front of a wide range of lenders and brokers without you having to complete multiple applications yourself.

If you’re ready to apply, complete our online application form and we’ll do our best to help you find a suitable option.
